1. Make a list of everything in your house that requires power to work. How inconvenient is it when there is a power outage and you cannot use those items?

2. Jesus told his followers to “wait” and then to “go.” Why do you think he instructed them this way?

3. How is the waiting important for us as it relates to the empowerment of the Holy Spirit in our lives?

4. How has being empowered by the Holy Spirit helped you? What areas of life have you seen or felt the need for Holy Spirit empowerment?

5. Make a list of all the areas of life that you need Holy Spirit empowerment? Pray on a daily basis for God to refresh and refill you with his Holy Spirit in those areas.
