By partnering with local schools we have the opportunity to meet physical needs but furthermore encourage and invest into the next generation. Events at the school allow us build relationships with the kids as well as the families. You can get involved by helping serve at a large seasonal event or by serving on a more regular basis in a weekly school program.

Completing a service project is a great way to get involved in the community, but sometimes it's hard to volunteer on-site with a nonprofit. This sample DIY guide allows you to participate in a service project on your terms. They're great for you, your family, or your small group.
