1. What is a big promise that someone made to you? Did that person keep the promise? If not, how did it make you feel?

2. Do you tend to trust promises or react with skepticism? Why?

3. How do you think the promises that people have broken in your life have affected your ability to trust God’s promises?  Should it affect us that way? Why or why not?

4. What are some of the promises God has given us that we can hold on to in those times when it feels like others aren’t keeping their promises?
