Info & Instructions (excluding drums):

• We’ve provided you with a tutorial that will show you specific parts, the recording of the version of the song we do, and two lead sheets as a guide: one with chords and one with the number system. Feel free to just use the chord chart for your audition, but be aware that we use the Number System on the weekends, so we wanted you to have an idea right off the bat of the resources you’ll have to prepare.
  Please prepare the exact parts in the tutorial as closely as possible - we want to see that you’re able to play the specific parts in the song/recording.

• Now, record a video of you doing the entirety of the song with the resources provided for your selected instrument (pick your primary one first).

• Make sure that you're able to record your video in fairly high definition (most semi-new phones will work). Please try to have good lighting so that we can see you/what you're playing, and ensure that when you listen back to it, the audio quality is good enough to distinguish what you’re playing versus the track you're playing along with.

• Once you have the video on your device, please either upload it as an UNLISTED YouTube video, or upload it to something like DropBox or Google Drive.

  Whichever you choose, copy that link and paste it in the form you will fill out after selecting your instrument. (Please make sure that on DB or GD, the link permissions are turned on that we can access it, such as selecting “anyone with the link”; or if you need an email, give access to worship@lifehousechurch.org)

• After that, if we believe that you will be a good fit for our team, we will be set up a "Callback" with you.

For Drums:

We will coordinate with you to set up an in-person audition right away! You will need to come prepared to play the entirety of the song provided with a click track, backing tracks, a Band Director AI counting in the sections, and a live person singing the vocal part.
