1. Read Acts 2:42-47.  What characteristics of this first church stick out to you? Make a list and discuss how those characteristics set that church apart.

2. What is the Church? Discuss the difference between the Church (capital C) and the church (lowercase c).

3. Considering the previous discussion, what does the statement “don’t go to church; be the Church” mean to you?

4. The Church is a movement of grace and love. How should that statement affect how we do what we call “church?” Why?

5. What are some practical ways you can implement personally beginning to “be” the Church right now? What steps will you take this week to do this?
