1. Make a list of the things that you would be willing to give your life for. Why did you choose these things?

2. Read Jude, verse 3. In the NIV it says we are to “contend” for the faith. What do you think that means? What does it mean for you personally?

3. How can fighting for the things that don’t really matter affect the Church? A particular church congregation? The effectiveness of a church?

4. Make a list of the things that you should protect in your faith. How can you become better at doing this?

5. Now make a list of the things that we can get caught up arguing about that don’t really matter. What can we do to prevent getting caught in these arguments?
